A Good Fashion Future in Dallas

With a long history as one of the southwest's most prominent metropolises, Dallas has a lot to offer the fashion design student or graduate. In addition to being home to hundreds of universities, it is also home to clothing manufacturers and retail companies--all in need of fashion designers and merchandisers.
Interested in fashion but want to stay in Texas? New York and Milan aren't the only places in the world where fashion is happening. Southwestern fashion has been alive and thriving for many years, and Dallas is one of the reasons why.

Your Fashion Education

Within the limits of this great city you'll find a number of schools where you can complete your fashion design education in fashion design and merchandising. In addition to these on-campus fashion design schools, you can earn your degree in fashion design online at a number of accredited schools offering similar degrees, diplomas, and certificates.

Earning your fashion degree online will allow you to complete your fashion design education at your own pace, keep your current schedule, and allow you more time to dream up your own clothing line.

Fashion in Dallas

In addition to Dallas' own fashion week, there are hundreds of fashion stores and outlets in downtown Dallas and in the surrounding suburbs. What better place to do research and get inspired than right in your own town?

Retail is booming in Dallas, creating a great opportunity for putting your fashion education to use. If you have a degree in fashion design and merchandising, as well as some ambition, a new clothing line designed for residents of the southwest might be a giant hit. Dallas loves to shop. Why shouldn't they be buying your line?
