Chicago Shows Appeal for Fashion Design Professionals

Fashion design professional Nicole Miller is looking for a new shop to house her clothing designs in Chicago--the boutique she already has isn't enough. Ms. Miller has made her career in fashion design successful by creating and marketing fashion design that is accessible to a large demographic.

Nicole Miller in Chicago, New York, and Everywhere!

Nicole Miller takes time to observe as well as create fashion design, as seen in May 2006, when she attended a fashion design awards show in Chicago. Enjoying a rich cultural history (her mother is from Paris) and an east coast fashion design education, her career in fashion design developed in New York, but she's brought her looks to other leading fashion cities like Chicago, as well as towns across the country.
In addition to her New York and Chicago fashion design projects, Ms. Miller created a line of clothing design for JCPenney, designing something that every type of woman could relate to, whether they're in big cities or small towns. Targeting consumers throughout the fashion design spectrum, she has brought success to her career in fashion design.

Growing Competition in Fashion Design

In an interview with the Chicago Sun-Times, Ms. Miller spoke of the challenges facing young fashion design students today. She named competition as one of the biggest hurdles to overcome.
As more and more students are attending fashion design school, the importance of an education in fashion design is growing. A fashion design education is what allows students to get the tools they need to take on the competition. It's not enough to simply have a great idea for clothing design anymore--you need a focused fashion education that prepares you for the career's challenges and competition. Plus, the networking you'll do in fashion design school can help you get started in your career in fashion design.
